The Juno Range
Handmade by Gillian, a Galway native living and making in Belfast, NI.
This is a range which resulted from my daughter’s experiments in glaze combinations! Juno wanted to try two of my regular glazes layered over each other and she hit on a winner. She tested the combo on a small bowl she made herself on the wheel. The results were instantly great and the original piece is now a treasured and frequently used little berry bowl. We love you Juno!
Wheel thrown, hand finished and hand painted.
These pieces are made using made durable high fire stoneware clay and are made to withstand daily use.
Pieces are dishwasher safe.
All Gillybean Mugs are design with the following in mind:
Light to hold, feel great in the hand
A huggable generous shape
Smooth hand pulled handles (large enough for the important 4 finger grip)
Turned foot, a little design flourish.
Stamped with the Gillybean logo
An 'I want to pick you up right now' glaze finish
Functional and durable! High fire stoneware, strong chip resistant glazes, dishwasher safe.
A rounded smooth lip, no undesirable lumps or bumps!
