White & toasted clay vase No. 1

A free form vase project which involed an afternoon and 10 balls of toasted stoneware each weighing 400g. These vases are an expression and expirementation with style and form, each different, each unique and not for reproduction. This vase is and will be the only of its kind.
Gorgeous natural toasted stoneware clay finished with gloss white glaze for contrasting textures and colours. A pleasing speckle of iron from the clay body makes itself known through the glaze, particularly on the rims of these vases.
Wheel thrown using speckled stoneware clay before firing to 900°c. Glazed using high fire food safe glaze and fired again to 1240°c. The Whites range is:
Heat safe
Dishwasher safe
Microwave safe
